IPTV Smarters Pro: Complete Setup and Usage Guide
How to set up and use IPTV Smarters Pro on iOS, Android, Fire TV, and Smart TV. Adding your account, navigating live TV, series and movies, and managing multiple providers.
IPTV Smarters Pro is the most cross-platform IPTV app available — it runs on iOS, Android, Fire TV, Android TV, Windows, and some smart TV platforms from a single account. If you use IPTV across an iPhone, a Fire TV Stick, and a tablet, Smarters is the unifying app.
Here is how to set it up and get the most out of it.
Getting IPTV Smarters Pro
iOS (iPhone, iPad): Search “IPTV Smarters Pro” in the App Store. The app is developed by Whmcs Smarters. Download and install — it may have a small one-time cost.
Android / Fire TV: Search in the Google Play Store or Amazon App Store. If not available in the App Store, download the APK directly from whmcssmarters.com using the Downloader app on Fire TV.
Windows: Available as a desktop app from the developer’s website.
Smart TV: Check your TV’s app store — LG Content Store, Samsung Smart Hub — for IPTV Smarters. Availability varies by region.
Adding your IPTV account
- Open IPTV Smarters Pro
- Tap Add User on the main screen
- You will see two options:
Option A: Login with Xtream Code
- Enter your account Name (anything you choose)
- Enter the Username, Password, and URL from your IPTVBROS welcome email
- Tap Add User
Option B: Load Your Playlist or File/URL
- Enter a Name
- Paste your M3U URL in the URL field
- Tap Add User
Either method works. Xtream Codes login is recommended — it loads your VOD library and enables additional features like catch-up TV where available.
Navigating the main interface
After adding your account, IPTV Smarters presents three main content sections:
Live TV: All your live channels organized into categories. This is the main IPTV experience — browse categories in the left panel, select a channel on the right, and tap to play.
Movies: The video-on-demand library. Browse by genre, search by title, or sort by date added. Playback works like any streaming service — tap to play, pause, seek forward/back.
Series: TV series organized by show and season. Find a series, select a season, then select an episode. Smarters remembers where you left off within a series.
Browsing and filtering live channels
The Live TV section shows your channels grouped into provider categories (Sports, News, Kids, International, etc.). To find a specific channel:
- Category browsing: Tap a category name in the left panel
- Search: Tap the search icon and type a channel name
- Favorites: Channels you have hearted appear in the Favorites category at the top of the list
To add a channel to favorites, tap the heart icon next to its name in the channel list. Remove it by tapping the heart again.
Using the EPG guide in Smarters
When logged in via Xtream Codes, the EPG (programme guide) loads automatically from the server:
- In Live TV, tap the Guide icon (usually at the top of the screen)
- The grid guide shows channels vertically and time horizontally
- Tap any programme to see details or set a reminder
If EPG is not showing, go to Settings > EPG/XMLTV and enter your XMLTV URL manually.
Managing multiple providers in Smarters
Smarters supports multiple accounts — you can add different IPTV providers and switch between them:
- On the main screen, tap your profile icon or the user menu
- Select Switch Account to see all configured providers
- Tap any provider to switch to it
This is useful when testing a new provider while keeping the old one as a backup, or if different family members prefer different services.
Smarters on iOS: iPhone and iPad
IPTV Smarters on iPhone works identically to Android with a few UI differences:
- The interface adapts to portrait and landscape mode
- On iPad, the side panel stays visible for easier category browsing
- AirPlay is supported — you can stream from your iPhone directly to an Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV
- Background playback continues in the iPhone’s picture-in-picture mode when you switch to another app
Advanced features in Smarters
External player: If Smarters’ built-in player does not handle a specific stream format, you can set VLC or MX Player as an external player: Settings > Player Settings > External Player.
Stream timeout: If channels frequently fail to load, increase the stream timeout: Settings > Player Settings > Stream Timeout. Set it to 10–15 seconds.
Aspect ratio: During playback, tap the screen and find the aspect ratio control to switch between Auto, 16:9, 4:3, and Stretch modes.
Portrait/Landscape lock: On phones, rotate the device to switch between portrait (showing the channel list) and landscape (full-screen playback).
Smarters vs TiviMate: which should you use?
Use IPTV Smarters if:
- You have an iPhone or iPad as your primary viewing device
- You want one app across many different device types
- You prefer a simpler, cleaner interface
- You primarily watch live TV and VOD (less focused on EPG and recording)
Use TiviMate if:
- Your primary devices are Fire TV or Android TV
- You want the best EPG guide experience
- You use TiviMate’s recording/DVR features
- You want the most advanced channel organization tools
For many households, both apps are installed — Smarters on phones and tablets, TiviMate on the main TV.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is IPTV Smarters Pro free?
IPTV Smarters Pro has a free version available on Android and iOS. Some platforms (Amazon App Store, certain smart TV stores) may charge a small one-time fee ($2–$5). The app itself does not include any IPTV content — you need a separate IPTV subscription.
What is the difference between IPTV Smarters and TiviMate?
IPTV Smarters runs on iOS (iPhone, iPad), Android, Fire TV, Windows, and some smart TVs — making it more cross-platform than TiviMate, which is Android/Fire TV only. TiviMate has a better EPG interface and more powerful favorites/recording features. Smarters is the better choice for iPhone users or those who want one app across all devices.
Can IPTV Smarters play 4K?
Yes. IPTV Smarters plays 4K streams on devices that support them. On a 4K Fire TV Stick or Apple TV, 4K HDR content plays natively. Make sure your device output is set to 4K in its display settings.
